Denise Roden’s bariatric journey began on August 11, 2004, with Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery—a life-changing event that led to a 100-pound weight loss and a renewed sense of confidence, health, and joy. But like many patients, she soon realized that long-term success required more than surgery. After navigating the ups and downs of weight maintenance and personal transformation, Denise made it her mission to support others through every phase of the bariatric journey. As a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), a member of the ASMBS, and the founder of Bariatric Center for Success, Denise brings both lived experience and professional expertise to the table. She is a respected group facilitator, success habits instructor, and pre- and post-op educator—deeply committed to offering compassionate, practical, and empowering support to the bariatric community. Through workshops, structured programs, and coaching, Denise helps patients reclaim their health and rediscover their confidence—whether they’re preparing for surgery, navigating post-op life, or finding their way back after regain. Her work is fueled by purpose, empathy, and the unwavering belief that with the right tools and support, long-term transformation is absolutely possible.
